I’m a semi-retired educator, with more than three decades teaching experience public hight schools in Chicago, Michigan City, and the Northwest suburbs.
I coached varsity soccer for 15 years, including coaching one of the original Chicago high school female teams.
I primarily taught Spanish. I also taught English, Social Studies, History and Civics over the years. At community collages I’ve taught English as a Second Language to adult learners.
I’ve lived here in McHenry County for two decades, and I currently serve on the Board of the McHenry County Regional Office of Education.
As your legislator I will listen, empathize, and do the right things to help residents of the 63rd and throughout Illinois, with special focus on education, public health, and reform of our tax system to lessen reliance on property taxes.
